Obligation check · sixty seconds

Three questions. One honest answer.

Not every shop needs the button on 19 June 2026. Pure B2B traders, shop-window sites without an ordering function, sellers of exclusively exempt goods — they are out. If you are not sure which category your shop falls into: three questions, answered honestly, and you will know.

Instant check: is there already a withdrawal button on your shop?

This quick check looks for the WiderrufButton widget on your homepage and is not a substitute for legal advice.

1

Do you sell to consumers (B2C)?

Yes: Yes, my shop is aimed at end consumers.
No: No, I sell exclusively to businesses (B2B).

The right of withdrawal applies only to consumer contracts (B2C). Pure B2B shops are not affected.

2

Do you offer goods or services that can be ordered online?

Yes: Yes, customers can order through my shop.
No: No, my shop is only a catalogue / shop window.

The obligation applies to distance contracts — that is, when customers can order online. A pure product catalogue without an ordering function is not affected.

3

Do you grant a right of withdrawal (statutory or voluntary)?

Yes: Yes — my customers have a right of withdrawal.
No: No — my products are exempt from the right of withdrawal.

Some products are exempt from the right of withdrawal (e.g. sealed hygiene items, custom-made goods). If a right of withdrawal applies to your products, you need the button.
